The Berndoodle is a hybrid breed that combines the best traits of the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Poodle. They inherit the intellect, friendliness, and high trainability of the Poodles, and the sweet, affectionate, mellow personality of the Berners. The Bernedoodle makes a great family dog and has a coat that is ideal for those who have allergies. As a hybrid, they have a much lower risk of inheriting the genetic defects that can be found in either of its purebred parent breeds due to genetic diversity. We also extensively test our parent dogs to greatly decrease the risk of hip or elbow dysplasia, genetic diseases, heart or eye issues, which results in happy, healthy puppies with superior longevity than their purebred parent breeds!
Standard Poodles are a perfect addition to any family. They don’t shed and are hypoallergenic, making them a great choice for those with allergies. They are also great with children and make excellent family pets. Poodles are intelligent and highly trainable, making them an easy breed to integrate into any household. Our puppies are well-socialized in a family setting and raised in a positive and healthy environment, ensuring they will be the perfect fit for your family. We test our parents dogs to ensure that our purebred Standard Poodle puppies are as healthy as possible, which greatly decreases the risk of your puppy inheriting a genetic disease or having hip or elbow conformation issues.

Is the deposit refundable?Deposits placed on a specific puppy are not refundable. However, if something comes up, and you are not able to take the puppy, your deposit would be transferable to a later litter. If you do not place your deposit on a specific puppy, but on a upcoming litter, the deposit is refundable up until the time you pick your puppy from the litter.

How do I reserve a puppy? To reserve a puppy, we ask for a $500 reservation deposit. We accept Venmo, personal check, or Paypal. This deposit can save one of our currently available puppies for you. Or, if you are not yet ready for your puppy, it would also save you a spot on our waiting list to pick from our future litters.

Do you offer shipping? While we love to have families visit here when they pick up their puppies, we do offer shipping for those who live too far away to drive. We ship our puppies through American Airlines Pet Travel Service and have been very happy with their process. The costs of shipping and handling is approximately $550.
